  • 2.9 yr old dd started preschool this week. Seems to be fine at school, but at home acting out, totally easily upset, pushed me (twice), etc. I assume acting out at home w/mom and dad is normal first week, but a) do I ignore bad behavior or try to be patient yet still disicpline for stuff and b) how long does this period last? Uh, until college? Will she settle down in a few weeks? Appreciate any advice. TIA

    • very normal..our preschool teacher told us this can happen since they are well behaved in school and let the steam out at home at the start of school. I would be patient but still discipline.
