  • Has anyone had a procedure for varicose veins? Wondering if I should get this done, and how much it costs. Will they ever go away on their own?

    • Insurance covered some but I probably ended up paying 1500 out of pocket. Vein Treatment Center in NY.

        • cosmetic. They were so obvious I was so self-conscious about them. Happy I did it but it was a rather disgusting procedure.

            • You really feel the vein being pulled out. I am normally pretty good with medical procedures/pain but that feeling was tough to take. I would ask for better meds if I ever were to do it again. Recovery was a month or 2 of horrible bruising. Now you can see the 4 or 5 incision spots but they're small so I am happy overall.
